Mystery - what does it mean to you?

The Long Goodbye (c) 2008 by Tina M. Harris

Hello everyone! I am so sorry I have been out of touch here for so long. I have had a tough couple of weeks, and despite my best intentions I am afraid I have let the blog slide. Never fear though -- I am back, and I have a new word for you: mystery. This word seems to have so many possibilities for interpretation, and I can't help but think that fall is a great time for this word in particular! Here are a few good quotes to get you thinking about our new word ...

“The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible.” Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)

"The greatest mystery is not that we have been flung at random between the profusion of matter and of the stars, but that within this prison we can draw from ourselves images powerful enough to deny our nothingness." Andre Malraux (1901-1976)

"It is curious to note the old sea-margins of human thought. Each subsiding century reveals some new mystery; we build where monsters used to hide themselves." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882)

So, you have your new word -- now go and and capture your poetic license interpretation of this word, and send your best 2 or 3 mystery photos to me on or by Friday, October 24th!

How will you interpret this word? Well, that's certainly a mystery to me!!
