Sign of Progress by Beth Patterson

I received this photograph from a woman named Beth Patterson who lives here in Central Oregon. She sent me the following note regarding her photograph: "This picture was taken trying to get the interpretive sign about the ‘un-development’ of the Deschutes River with some of the ducks and their new/old habitat behind the sign. The sign sits out on a walkway made out into the river where they are restoring a more natural habitat for the waterfowl. It’s a pretty cool thing—a sure ‘sign of progress’ that they’re letting the logs and flotsam and jetsam build up to make natural habitat.

Took this photo with my cellphone one frigid morning walk in January…"

Thanks, Tina!
I'll be lurking around my life looking for inklings of fear.

I'll post to the Virtual Tea House about your site soon...

Nice to 'meet' you!
