Untitled (c) by Lisa Haney
About her photograph, my friend Lisa writes "Tina, I'm embarrased I missed your original date. This is my "Double," from Smith Rocks. I turned around from the rock I was sitting on, and saw this. Lion boys, both peeping through the same shrub. One of my favorites...."

Ollie by Lisa Haney
"I'm contributing this photo of my older dog, Ollie. I find blissful states in both my dogs, more than I seem to find myself! This photo reminds me of the bliss to be found in my home, despite all the deadlines and challenges with MY every-day ..." says Lisa Haney about her photograph. (Doesn't Ollie look blissful?)

Here's the first submission for our latest word "old." About her photograph Lisa said "What I saw in this was behemoth old trees, [who've spent] Decades(?) in their same spot, but with light and life dancing all around."
If you have a photographic interpretation of the word "old" that you would like to share with us, please send it to tinaharrisphotoart@hotmail.com on or before Friday, August 15th, 2008 (please see the instructions for submitting your photos in the column to the left).
Take Poetic License with the word "old" and share your vision with the rest of us!

Another "Blue" Submission by Lisa Haney
A Little Patch of Blue by Lisa Haney
This is another submission by Lisa Haney. I wonder if she took this photograph here in Central Oregon ...? As a photographer, one of the things I love most about this part of Oregon is our ever-changing skies. We get some of the most intense, wonderfully colorful (or deeply foreboding) looking skies!
